SImilarity

 






During these artwork I hard a time finding out what I was going to do and so I ended up researching Similarities in graphic designs. Over those times in research I was able to have a good idea on what I was going to do. In my first piece of art, I used thin hexagon shapes to create a beautiful portrait, and in my second, I used a similar idea to create nice cross shapes, allowing the concept of "Similarity" to take effect. Moving on to my second piece of art, I drew inspiration from space and combined all of the shapes I had used in this class's artwork up to that point into one large piece. So, for the first portrait, I utilized circles with negative space, and for the second, I used squares with a similar form in place of circles, and the result was a nice space design. I'm going to be honest with the way I see my work with these two designs, they were not so the best yet it fits the categories to match the requirements for this assignment. I definitely do better when it comes to brainstorming ideas and try to add more defined details to improve.

 3 Letters In this artwork shows a 3 well more like 4 letters since I wanted to add it for design. Each of these letters represent different types of classifications. These classifications contains Bodoni (Modern), Rockwell (Slab Serif), Baskerville (Transitional). The "g" is Bodoni (Modern) which gives more of a modernized style compared to old style fonts. This was designed in the late 18th century and frequently revived since. For the "A" I decided to go with a Rockwell (Slab Serif) classification in order to to fill in majority of the spaces. This classification is close to Sans Serifs in their construction, including their generally low stroke contrast, but possessing serifs that match the overall stroke. Metropolitan Museum of Art Field Trip

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the most iconic and renowned museums in the world. It is a treasure trove of art and artifacts from different cultures and civilizations, spanning thousands of years. My recent visit to the museum was a facilitating experience, as I got to witness some of the most beautiful and complex works of art from different parts of the world. The parts of their design that apply to things/ideas you've explored in our class is how things are gradually evolving throughout time just like the sculptures. One of the most impressive sections of the museum is the Greek and Roman art section. Interrelationship of forms

 Interrelationship of forms Detachment I decided to draw this art because it reminds me of a rectangle being separated which represents Detachment. Looking at this right now I feel like I did alright portraying the form Detachment even though it doesn't look attracting. Touching While thinking up a way to find a art that represents Touching I came up with something simple like this for example which is a two big circle touching or could be seen as two triangle touching each other upside down and could be seen a reflection of the shape itself.
